TU Career Center to hold career fair for the Heritage Foundation

The Thomas University Career Center will hold an interview and internship career fair for positions with the Heritage Foundation of Thomasville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the TU Career Center, located next to the TU Library on Main Campus.

The Heritage Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1989 to provide prevention, education, intervention and treatment services in Southwest Georgia, according to the organization’s website. The Foundation operates House of Focus, an outpatient program that provides services to women and their families who have been affected by substance abuse; Maya’s House, a residential substance abuse treatment program for women and children; and Sycamore Center, which provides treatment to youth experiencing a range of mental health symptoms, behavioral difficulties and addictive diseases.

During the fair, Heritage Foundation representatives will be interviewing for the positions of master level clinician, case manager, support service technician and family consultant. Students interested in an internship can also attend the fair. All participants should be prepared for an interview during the fair.
