Balfour to debut new book during signing at TU Dec. 2

Thomas University will host a book signing for R.C. Balfour III’s newest book, “The Jesus I Know: Twelve Creative Bible Witnesses,” at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Balfour Chapel on TU’s Main Campus.

In “The Jesus I Know” Balfour uses the first person point of view to tell how 12 New Testament characters met Jesus. Balfour uses his storytelling skills to describe the early lives of each character. They each describe the life changes that took place after meeting Jesus. Balfour closes the book by sharing his own personal testimony in the epilogue.

Balfour already has several other books to his credit, including “In Search of Aucilla,” “Fishing for the Abundant Life,” “He Turned the World Upside Down,” “Paul Speaks to Us Today,” “The Eagle Soars: John’s Search for the Infinite,” “Adventures of the Patriarchs, The Genesis of Faith” and “The Persian Prince and the Man of God.”

The new book can be purchased during the event on Dec 2. Balfour will be available for a question-and-answer session as well as personal inscriptions. For more information, call (229) 227-6903 or e-mail hcairns@thomasu.edu.
