TU to hold Education Career Interview Fair Nov. 17

Thomas University’s Career Center will hold a career interview fair prospective teachers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. The fair will be held in the lobby of Smith-Bonvillian Hall on TU’s Main Campus.

The Education Career Interview Fair will feature several area schools systems seeking to fill various teaching positions. School system representatives will conduct on-site interviews for these positions. Participating schools systems include Thomas, Decatur, Early Grady counties and Thomasville City Schools in Georgia; and Jefferson, Madison, Gadsden and Leon counties in Florida.

The TU Career Center also provides assistance preparing résumés for this event or for other job interviews. TU students and the public are welcome to stop by the Career Center for assistance with cover letters, resumes and job searches. The Career Center is open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday; 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday; 2-9 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Thursday; or by appointment.
