Next TU Career Fair set for Oct. 27

Thomas University’s Career Center will present its next Career Interview Fair 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, featuring the Florida Department of Children & Families. Representatives will be on hand to interview for Child Protective Investigator positions.

“The Thomas University Career Center is committed to assisting our community partners in filling their employment needs,” said David Barnett, Director of Career Services at TU. “We have various human services-related degrees in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology and Criminal Justice. Our graduates can aid in filling many of the open positions in South Georgia and North Florida.  Well-educated, ethically trained students are needed to benefit the next generation of case management delivery. We are honored that our community partners are willing to come to campus to recruit our students and take the time to offer advice, experience and to assist students in their future careers.”

In addition to Thomas University students, the career fair is open to interested people from the community. All participants are asked to come with résumés and prepared for on-site interviews.

The Career Interview Fair will be held in the Career Center, which is located on TU’s Main Campus next to the library. The TU Career Center also offers free assistance for TU students and those from the community seeking employment. For more information, contact Barnett at
