Southwest Georgia Society of CPAs establishes scholarship at TU

The Southwest Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants established a scholarship for the 2015-16 academic year for Thomas University students. A signing ceremony was held Thursday, June 4, in the Office of the President at TU. To apply for the scholarship, a TU student must be a Georgia resident, a junior or senior, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and submit a letter of recommendation from the Southwest Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Participating in the ceremony are (from left) Dr. Grady Enlow, Vice President for Institutional Advancement; G. Tom Harrison Jr., a CPA with Lanigan & Associates representing the Southwest Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants; Dr. Gary Bonvillian, TU President; Dr. Jill Dennis, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing.
