TU to hold career fair June 9

Thomas University’s Career Center will partner with Behavioral Health Services of South Georgia to hold a career fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 9. The fair will be held in the Career Center, which is located in Room 2 next to the TU Library. The career fair is open to TU students and the community.

Behavioral Health Services of South Georgia is a public nonprofit organization operated by the South Georgia Community Service Board. Community Service Boards are legal entities created to govern public mental health, intellectual disability and substance abuse services.

Career fair participants are asked to come with a resume and prepared for an interview. Behavioral Health Services will also have representatives on hand to answer questions.

Also, the TU Career Center offers free assistance for those seeking employment at TU and in the community. The Career Center is open for drop-ins from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Services include resume and cover letter assistance, mock interview, career assessments, career counseling, individual job search sessions, and collaborations with local staffing agencies. Online career counseling is also available by appointment.
