Thomas University honors retirees

Thomas University faculty and staff gathered on Wednesday, April 29, in the Campus Center on Main Campus to honor three faculty members who will retire at the end of spring semester. Honorees include (from left) Pamela Darwin, a math instructor in Learning Support Services at TU for eight years; Jim Hodges, Associate Professor of English, who taught at TU for 30 years; and Dr. Alison Riley, who taught at TU for nine years. Hodges has also been given the honor of professor emeritus. A scholarship is being created in his name that will be presented to a Humanities or Interdisciplinary Studies major at TU. For more information about the Jim Hodges Scholarship or to donate to the scholarship fund, please contact the TU Office of Advancement at (229) 227-6903.
