TU Honor Council members recognized

Photos by Rachel WIggins

Thomas University Honor Council members held their annual dinner reception on Thursday, April 16, to recognize members for their work over the past academic year. The entirely student-led Honor Council is tasked with enforcing the Honor Code at TU. Graduating Honor Council members were recognized with stoles that will be worn as part of their academic regalia during Commencement. Participants include (from left) Dr. Gary Bonvillian, TU President; Kristy Wainwright of Boston, Georgia, Honor Council President; Morgan Colvin of Thomasville, Georgia, Honor Council member; Denik Camon of Ray City, Georgia, Honor Council Vice President of Education; and Dr. Ann Landis, TU Executive Vice President and Provost. Not pictured are graduating student Chelsea Dolan of Thomasville, Honor Council member, and Pauline Patrick, adviser.

During the dinner, Honors Council President Kristy Wainright presented an Outstanding Leader Award to Alexandria Walter of Cataula, Georgia, an Honor Council member and student in TU’s Environmental Studies program.
