TU Takeover Student Art Show set for April 17 in Boston

Thomas University’s student artists will converge in Boston on April 17 to showcase their best works at the Boardwalk Studio & Gallery, 109 W. Jefferson St.

“This exhibit is important as a learning opportunity for students,” said Rich Curtis, TU Assistant Professor of Art. “After a semester of hard work producing this artwork, they get the satisfaction of sharing it with the public. It also serves to showcase our talented students and raises the profile of the university in the wider community. Many of the pieces will be for sale.”

The TU Takeover will begin at 6 p.m. and feature the works of TU students Marcus Humose, Rachel Wiggins, Mariah Avery, Brittany Blasko, Tay Britt, Tierra Christian, K.D. Davis, Roman Davis, Damon Jackson, Kimberly Duncan, Mari Josey, Zana Milline, Cynthia Passmore, Alana Powell, Tangela Robinson, Vallie Smith, Alliston Thomas and David Wood.

During the show, the TU Jazz Ensemble will perform.
