Apalachee Center to hold interview fair at Thomas University

The Apalachee Center, which includes several mental health facilities across North Florida, will hold an interview fair at Thomas University from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The TU Career Center holds monthly interview fairs for employers in the community who are seeking to fill open positions within their companies. Students and community members are welcome to attend. The fairs are designed to offer walk-in application and interview sessions for available positions. Applicants are asked to come prepared and dressed appropriately.

“The Thomas University Career Center over the last seven months has worked to create employment collaborations with several of our community businesses and organizations,” said David Barnett, TU Career Center Director. “We offer services at the Thomasville Public Library, we assist students with Independent living skills at the Vashti Center for Children, and we now offer in-classroom career guidance to our students online, on campus, and our satellite campus locations.  The Thomas University Career Center was designed to serve our students’ career needs, and to serve as a vocational bridge to connect community partners and community members with employment opportunities.”

The Apalachee Center interview fair will be held inside the TU Career Center, located in classroom #2 next to the TU Library on the Main Campus. The TU Career Center also provides assistance preparing resumes for this event or for other job interviews. For more information, please contact Barnett at dbarnett@thomasu.edu.
