R.C. Balfour III

Balfour to debut new book at TU signing on Sunday

Thomas University will host a book signing for R.C. Balfour III’s newest book, “The Persian Prince and the Man of God” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, in Balfour Chapel on TU’s Main Campus.

“The Persian Prince and the Man of God” is set in 600 B.C. in the countries of Babylon, Medo-Persia and Lydia, current day Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Israel. The book tells the story of Cyrus and Daniel. One was almost a pawn in a power struggle that nearly took his life. The other was a devout man of Jewish faith trained to assist the king of Israel and then whisked away to pagan Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. The book tells the amazing story of how each man climbed to the top while facing death-defying obstacles.

Balfour already has several other books to his credit, including “In Search of Aucilla,” “Fishing for the Abundant Life,” “He Turned the World Upside Down,” “Paul Speaks to Us Today,” “The Eagle Soars: John’s Search for the Infinite” and “Adventures of the Patriarchs, The Genesis of Faith.”

The book can be purchased during the event on Sunday. Balfour will be available for a question-and-answer session as well as personal inscriptions. For more information, call (229) 227-6903 or e-mail mfriddell@thomasu.edu.
