Thomas University students to open photo exhibit on Friday
Four of Thomas University’s most talented photography students will share their work with the public in a Spring Photo Show at the Boardwalk Studio & Gallery in Boston.
“This group of exhibiting students display varied perspectives and subjects,” said Stephanie Whitefield, who teaches digital photography at TU. “They delve into the complex themes of isolation, urbanism, mourning and abstraction.”
Featured student photographers include Isaac Darzi, Caitlin Fletcher, Anna Gass and Justyn Watkins.
“Thomas University maintains a vital role in the community,” Whitfield said. “The tremendously talented TU students, and their work, contribute to the cultural richness of the community.”
The exhibit will be held at the Boardwalk Studio & Gallery, 109 W. Jefferson St., Boston
“The Boardwalk Gallery in Boston is owned by TU Art Professor Rich Curtis, and his wife, Lori,” Whitfield said. “They generously donated the space for this exhibit, allowing us to reach further into Thomas County and promote the opportunities available at Thomas University.”
The opening reception for the show will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 18. There is no admission charge, and the public is invited.
