Rose City Strings Project

Young Artists to perform Sunday

Arts for the Community at Thomas University presents “A Young Artists’ Showcase” as part of the Sundays at Four series on Sunday, March 16, at 4 p.m. at the Thomasville Center for the Arts. The event will feature three orchestras from the Rose City Strings Project at the Scholars Academy, the Thomas County Central High School women's chamber ensemble Bella Voce, as well as instrumentalists and singers from Brookwood School and Cairo and other schools throughout the region.

“We are so excited to provide a venue for the young artists in this region, and are happy to include the orchestras from the Rose City Strings Project and the Bella Voce ensemble to this year’s program,” Dr. Karl Barton, series coordinator, said. “This celebration of talent is sure to be a real crowd pleaser."

The concert is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5. A reception will follow the performance. For additional information visit thomasu.edu/actu or call (229) 227-6964.
