Rupert Boneham speaks at SCeNE’s Fall Forum
Rupert Boneham, a contestant on the TV show “Survivor” and founder of the nonprofit organization Rupert’s Kids was the featured speaker during the Southern Center for Nonprofit Excellence (SCeNE) at Thomas University’s Fall Forum Wednesday at the Thomasville Center for the Arts. Boneham, who started Rupert’s Kids before he became a TV celebrity, spoke to participants on some of the hurdles he encountered and about sustainability.

The SCeNE Fall Forum also included roundtable discussions on topics for nonprofit organizations, such as accounting practices, strategic plan development, writing grants, marketing and recruiting volunteers. Alyce Lee Stansbury leads the roundtable discussion “Expanding Your Donor Base” during one of the sessions.
